The Yancheng TV Tower is located in the core area of Yannan High tech Zone in Yancheng, south of Julonghu Park, adjacent to Yancheng City Cultural and Art Center, Golden Eagle Olympic City, and European Style Street. It is the only TV tower in China that adopts a full glass curtain wall and has won the National Steel Structure Gold Award.
The main tower is 195 meters high. It consists of four parts: a base, a tower body, a sightseeing and leisure area, and a broadcasting antenna. The base has three floors and a height of about 16.8 meters. It is equipped with an entrance lobby and exhibition area.
The tower body is composed of scattered blocks assembled with salt crystals. The total area of the sightseeing area is about 800 square meters, including an aerial sightseeing hall, a high-end landscape restaurant, and a cloud walking corridor. There is also an underground floor of 1800 square meters for television broadcasting transmission and auxiliary facilities such as office, maintenance, and management. Install circular leisure businesses around the main tower square to meet the daily needs of citizens for leisure shopping and dining.
The lighting equipment for the Yancheng TV Tower lighting project is provided by the Grand Canyon lighting system, with the following lighting equipment: STP/CV4C/GR4B/AP5A/CN2B/RTP-9805/RTP-S8. In 2019, the Grand Canyon upgraded and renovated the control system of the Yancheng TV Tower. The upgraded control system has smoother linkage and seamless integration with lighting fixtures. The Yancheng TV Tower stands next to the Yancheng Municipal Government Building, with a grand and solemn atmosphere, becoming a new landmark of Yancheng City.
